I never really thought much about how blessed I was...that is part of my problem...these little angels (with horns) make my life so much better...

Yes, we really are this goofy! My kids are some of the most interesting people I've ever known.
I love them so much! I can't even imagine leaving them behind.
Parents should feel this way. It's how we are built. I have never understood how a parent, a good parent, could ever walk away from a child. But it is not my place to understand. It is only my place to live through it. And not have my kids live through it. I will NEVER abandon my kids because of my own selfishness. I will NEVER be like my own parents. Isn't that the lament of every child? I suppose it's a blessing that I have such bad examples to look to! HA!
And I still can't wait to get to the lake! Only 4 more days. I just hope my van is repaired in time. If not, we'll deal with it, I guess. Rent a car, borrow the in-law's truck. At least we have the money to do that! Finally!!
Now if I could only win that Powerball.....
